境内では、白壁に朱色の梁が映える堂々とした外観の経堂を拝観できます。堂内には巨大な八角形の回転式経棚があり、取っ手を持って回すことが可能です。足利歴代将軍の座像も納められており、特別公開時には有料で内部を見学でき、歴史を感じられる貴重な見どころです。
