山門には風神雷神や天女の絵、凝った装飾があり、簡素な禅寺のイメージとは異なる趣があります。境内は非常に綺麗で、季節によっては銀杏や紅葉が美しく彩られます。南側の階段や東側の駐車場から坂を上って参拝でき、周辺は高台に位置しています。
