閑静な住宅地の中にあり、境内は玉砂利が敷かれ綺麗に整備されています。本堂の前に立つ五重塔や、山門をくぐると目の前に現れる銀杏が特徴的です。御朱印の受付も丁寧に対応してもらえるほか、千手観音様も祀られています。
