新潟駅から徒歩圏内にあり、広々とした開放的な雰囲気の境内が特徴です。境内のあちこちに隠れた6体のカエル像をすべて見つけると「幸せを迎える」と言われています。御朱印は月替わりで内容が変わるほか、季節によって変化するカエルのおみくじや飴の授与もあります。
