川崎大師の境内に位置し、八角五重塔がそびえ立つ落ち着いた雰囲気の堂です。厳かな空気の中で参拝ができ、専用の御朱印を授与する受付もあります。毎月28日には護摩供が行われ、熱心な参拝者の姿も見られます。
