本堂は国の重要文化財に指定されており、歴史的な趣を感じられる建物です。境内には6月から7月にかけてアジサイが見頃を迎えます。大和高田さざんかホールのすぐ横に位置しており、交通の便は良いですが、駐車場は用意されていません。
