Located as a tower head (tozu) within Kennin-ji, this temple holds special public openings during the New Year and early summer. The grounds feature imposing guardian lion-dogs (komu) and offer enjoyment of winter flora and a colorful garden. Visitors can also participate in various experiences, such as making a knot charm (musubi), obtaining a Goshuin (a shrine's calligraphic seal stamp) featuring cut-paper art, and viewing colorful ema (wooden prayer plaques).
