森を抜けた先にある境内は見晴らしが良く、気持ちの良い場所です。境内には生目神社もあり、周囲の景色も楽しめます。お堂は無人ですが、納経箱は堂内に設置されています。お遍路道は滑りやすいため注意が必要ですが、駐車場も整備されています。
