青梅街道から細い路地を入った高台に位置し、静かな里山の雰囲気が漂う神社です。境内には「立皮の桜」と呼ばれる名木や常夜灯があり、摂社も点在しています。社務所は無人ですが、男子用小便器が設置されているほか、周辺には図書館などの施設もあります。
