12月1日から8日までは座禅会が行われ、厳粛な雰囲気の中で心身を整えることができます。寺院周辺は砂防ダムの建設により整備され、アクセスが良くなりましたが、寺院前の道路幅は狭い点に注意が必要です。諏訪観音霊場の29番札所でもあります。
