子宝成就や安産祈願で知られ、川に上向きに寝た女体の形をした自然石が御神体として祀られています。御神体の周囲には多くの赤石や黒石があり、これらを持って帰る習慣があります。境内は岩が多く足元が険しいため、スニーカーなどの履き慣れた靴で訪れるのが安心です。
