境内には大楠や夫婦杉の根、苔むした石垣など、歴史を感じさせる古木や景観が点在しています。本宮へは272段の石段を登る必要があり、足元が滑りやすいため歩きやすい靴での参拝が推奨されます。社務所では「ふくのかみ」が配布されるほか、季節によっては花手水も供されます。
