市街地に位置しながら、境内には豊かな杜が広がり、静かに参拝できる雰囲気です。拝殿は盛り土と急な石段の上にあり、境内には複数の社や大きな樹木が点在しています。社務所では御朱印の授与があり、石段を上るのが大変な方向けに下の賽銭箱も用意されています。
