海から数百メートルの場所に位置し、鮮やかな朱色の社殿が美しい神社です。境内には土俵があり、賑やかな雰囲気も感じられます。震災の被害を受けた歴史があり、境内の松の木が瓦礫を食い止めて社殿を守ったという話も残っています。
