山あいに位置し、森の静寂と川のせせらぎ、風鈴や蝉の声が響く落ち着いた雰囲気の神社です。境内には天然記念物のケヤキの群生があり、少し歩くと不動滝や「うらみ石」を見ることができます。恐竜博物館から車で約15分ほどの場所にあり、自然豊かな環境です。
