新庄市街の北に位置する禅宗の寺院で、藁葺き屋根の上に銅板を施した大きな屋根が特徴的です。水子地蔵の前に子供が喜ぶような可愛い人形が備えられており、アットホームで親しみやすい雰囲気が漂っています。なお、御朱印の授与は行われていないようです。
