周囲は静かな環境で、近くには川下りの風景やロープウェイなどの観光スポットがあります。お堂の外観は古さを感じさせますが、内部は立派な造りです。近年は塀などの改修が行われ、境内は綺麗になっています。駐車場は正面の門から入った場所にあり、少し坂道がありますが車での入庫が可能です。
