大きな本堂が印象的な境内は、常に清掃が行き届いており、気持ちよく参拝できます。境内には福山大空襲の焼夷弾の跡が残る英霊堂があり、歴史的な見どころとなっています。駐車場はやや手狭なため、ミニバン等の大型車は注意が必要です。
