桜の時期には境内や周辺の農道でお花見を楽しむことができ、わき道へ進むと富士山の絶景を望めるスポットがあります。国府津山のハイキングコースの起点となっており、急な坂道があるため注意が必要です。駅の目の前ですが、道がないため迂回が必要な場合があります。
