本殿の壁面を飾る彫刻が見事で、特に素盞嗚尊の八岐大蛇退治などの作品が見応えがあります。雛まつりシーズンには、隣接する建物への依頼により本殿内部の拝観や、吊るし雛などの展示を見られることもあります。街の近くに位置する、歴史を感じる落ち着いた雰囲気の神社です。
