境内は広く、平日の日中は高齢者の集会が行われるなど地域に根ざした雰囲気があります。年越し神輿の行事では、カウントダウンや神輿の担ぎ上げのほか、年越しそばなどの振る舞いがあるのが特徴です。駐車場はありませんが、のんびりとお参りできる環境です。
