鳥居から社殿までの参道は植栽が整っており、気持ちよく参拝できます。境内にはクスノキの大木をはじめとする樹木が配置され、社殿との構図が良いのが特徴です。広い境内には、かつて祭りの際にサーカスや芝居の一座が訪れていた様子を伝える掲示板もあります。
