境内には住居や集会場が立ち並んでいますが、小さくも美しい庭園があります。かつて土御門家の屋敷があったとされる場所であり、中庭には渾天儀の台石が残されています。非観光寺院のため、公開はされていないものの、日曜学校の活動が行われている様子が見られることもあります。
