高台に位置し、見晴らしが良いのが特徴です。境内は整えられており、高い石段を登った先にはシンボルである鐘楼門や広い境内が広がります。桜の季節には花を鑑賞でき、周辺には神社や仏閣が立ち並ぶ通りがあります。駐車場は坂道にあるため、近隣の空き地を利用するのも便利です。
