古墳の東側に隣接しており、境内には新田氏累代の墓と伝わる石層塔や五輪塔が並んでいます。古色紛々とした山門をくぐると、モダンでカラフルなRC造の本堂が構えています。境内は公園のようにもなっており、子供の姿も見られるなど、落ち着いた雰囲気で参拝できます。
