境内には大きな宝篋印塔や鐘楼があり、立派な本堂や彫刻が特徴的な寺院です。特に本堂欄間の彫刻は有名ですが、住職の不在により通常は内部の見学が難しい場合があります。また、あじさいが多く植えられており、6月から7月上旬にかけては「千倉のあじさい寺」として賑わいます。
