A small shrine established in the 16th century, where flowers bloom profusely and the cherry blossoms are magnificent in spring.

What visitors say

The shrine grounds and halls are beautifully decorated with seasonal flowers and traditional Japanese umbrellas, creating a very vibrant atmosphere. Visitors can experience zazen (seated meditation) and calligraphy copying, as well as view the hidden Buddha image of Bishamonten (the guardian deity of the northeast). The designs of the Goshuin (shrine seal stamps) and omamori (protective charms) are diverse, and it is a lively place visited by many foreign tourists.
