雪深い時期でも参拝が可能ですが、冬場は積雪により接近が難しい場合があります。境内には民具などを展示する博物館があり、本堂の天井画は鉱物の顔料を用いた希少なものとして知られています。周辺には蕎麦屋がありますが、冬場は不定期営業となるため注意が必要です。
