高台に位置する神社で、菊名駅から徒歩圏内にあります。社殿は彫刻を含め立派な造りで、背中が盛り上がった特徴的な狛犬や石灯籠など、歴史を感じさせる見所が多いのが特徴です。社務所はありませんが、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で参拝ができます。
