境内は広く、大きな木立の陰は夏でも涼しく過ごしやすい雰囲気です。敷地内には遊具やトイレがあり、お祭り期間中には神楽殿でお囃子の練習が行われるなど、地域に根ざした賑わいも見られます。初詣の時期には、氏子の方からお菓子や甘酒が配られることもあります。
