専修寺の塔頭寺院の一つで、山門をくぐってすぐの場所に本堂があります。境内には三重県の文化財に指定されている聖徳太子立像が安置されており、そのあどけない表情や写実的な造形が特徴です。山門の正面には、この立像を模したような石像も置かれています。
