山形盆地を一望できる絶景を楽しめるスポットです。市民プール側からの登山コースは、幼児でも登れるほど比較的歩きやすく、春のお散歩やトレーニングにも適しています。境内には狛犬があり、野生動物への注意も必要ですが、山頂からの眺望は非常に素晴らしいです。
