國學院大學の隣に位置する高台の寺院で、静かな環境と清浄に保たれた境内が特徴です。本堂の左側には墓地や井戸、水神宮があり、井戸水が飲める設備も整っています。大晦日には除夜の鐘を撞く行事があり、参拝の際は時間に余裕を持って訪れるのがおすすめです。
