歴史を感じさせる落ち着いた雰囲気の寺院で、規模はそれほど大きくありませんが、美しい桜が咲くなど季節の景観も楽しめます。毎年4月には秘仏のご開帳が行われます。なお、御朱印の授与はないため、参拝の際はあらかじめ確認しておくのが良いでしょう。
