境内は自然豊かで、静かで綺麗な庭園が広がっています。本堂前には芝生が整えられており、木陰のベンチで休憩することも可能です。5月下旬から6月初旬には庭で蛍が見られるほか、本堂横の通路は熊野神社の参道にもなっています。
