What visitors say
Located in the center of Aomori city, this shrine features a spacious precincts filled with a dignified and quiet atmosphere. In winter, visitors can enjoy the mysterious landscape adorned with snow. Goshuin (calligraphic seal stamps) are available both handwritten on the spot and pre-written. Explanatory signs are also provided for the subsidiary shrines within the grounds.
由来
- •第十九代允恭天皇の御世、善知鳥中納言安方によって創建されたと伝わる古い歴史を持つ神社です。
- •日本の国の総主祭神である天照坐皇大御神の御子である宗像三女神を主祭神としています。
- •善知鳥中納言安方が、この地の人々に漁猟と耕作を教え、地域の発展の基礎を築いたとされています。
- •現在の青森市が「善知鳥村」と呼ばれていた頃から、奥州陸奥之国外ヶ浜の鎮護の神として信仰されてきました。
- •青森の発祥の地として、地域の人々の信仰を長年集めてきた由緒ある神社です。
