建物は新しく、きれいに手入れされたお寺です。朝鮮通信使の宿舎として使われていた歴史がありますが、現在は落ち着いた雰囲気の檀家寺のようです。道が入り組んでおり、案内板が少ないため迷いやすい点に注意が必要です。御朱印は書き置きでの対応となっています。
