神殿造りの立派な社殿があり、一般的なお旅所とは異なる風格を備えています。鳥居が川沿いの道路に建てられていたり、お賽銭箱がなかったりと独特な構造も見られます。秋には銀杏の落葉があり、しなね祭の時期には神幸の練り歩きが行われるなど、歴史的な情緒を感じられる場所です。
