山門や墓の脇には立派な桜の木が数本植わっており、特に桜の時期は美しい景観を楽しめます。環八通りからほど近い静かな古刹で、御朱印は非常に大きなサイズで授与されます。玉川八十八ヵ所霊場の札所でもあり、丁寧な対応で御朱印をいただけるという声もあります。
