History
Founded in 1560 CE (Eiroku 3) in Rokusō Village, Ebara District, Musashi Province, with Butsujūin Nichigen as the founding monk. It was relocated and re-established at its current site in 1624 CE (Kan'ei 1) by Jōin-in Nichinen. The temple buildings were destroyed in the Nagoya air raids of 1944 CE (Shōwa 19). A provisional main hall and storehouse were rebuilt in 1954 CE (Shōwa 29), and the current reinforced concrete main hall was completed in 1980 CE (Shōwa 55).
