住宅地の奥まった場所に位置する、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気の神社です。境内は清掃が行き届いており、うねりのある立派なご神木や、曲がりくねった参道、本殿の裏手にある奥津城などが特徴です。駐車場はないため鳥居の前に駐車する形となり、御朱印の受付はありません。
