It was later revived in the 2nd year of Tenrin (1114 CE) by the Great Master Ryoin, establishing the complex known as Uozan Ohara-ji, with Shourin-in as the lower temple and Raiin-in as the upper temple. During the Edo period, it received a vermilion seal letter from the Edo Shogunate. After converting to the Yuuzun Butsu sect, it is now a temple of the Tendai sect.
