Ohara Jinja (Ohara Shrine)

The shrine enshrines a branch spirit from the former Kanpei Chusha Ohara-no Shrine located in Ohara-no Minami Kasuga-cho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City. In 1881 (Meiji 14), it merged with the former village shrine Inari Shrine. In 1910 (Meiji 43), it incorporated Kawasoku Shrine. In 1908 (Meiji 41), it was designated as the sole Machi Heihaku Koshin Shrine in the former Daikokuji Town.
