哲学の道からほど近い場所にあり、緩やかな坂道のため訪れやすい環境です。社殿前には狛犬の代わりに、神話にちなんだ可愛らしい狛鼠が鎮座しています。春には枝垂れ桜が咲き、観光客も比較的少なく落ち着いて参拝できるのが特徴です。
