出雲大社の御分霊を祀る神社で、境内は清掃が行き届き、気持ちよく参拝できる環境です。専用の駐車場はありませんが、お正月には御前参りが可能です。近隣には胡麻油を掛けて願掛けをする地蔵がいる国分寺もあり、周辺の雰囲気も特徴的です。
