大方丈は寺の行事が行われる大広間で、特別行事がない日は内部の見学も可能です。廊下から眺める庭園は四季折々の景色を楽しめる絶景で、美しい枯山水の庭園やビャクシンの大木が見どころです。写経を申し込むと特別な通路を通れる場合もあり、静かな雰囲気の中で参拝できます。
