境内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、手入れの行き届いた庭園や剪定された植木類が特徴です。特に春の梅の名所として知られ、うねった幹が特徴的な「臥龍梅」をはじめ、紅梅や枝垂れ梅が楽しめます。参拝には山あいの寺院の下にある無料駐車場を利用でき、季節の風景をゆっくりと鑑賞できます。
