A small traditional shrine famous for the purple iris flowers that bloom across the entire stream bed from May to June.
What visitors say
The shrine features a wetland area with clusters of iris flowers, offering beautiful scenery during the fresh green and autumn foliage seasons. Visitors can worship in a tranquil atmosphere, and nearby attractions such as Kamigamo Shrine are also located in the vicinity. To support the protection of the iris flowers, a 300 yen donation is required for viewing.
