境内は木々が多く清涼感があり、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気です。特に紅葉の時期には見事な大銀杏があり、穴場的なスポットとして親しまれています。上三川七福神巡りのスタンプ（200円）の受付がありますが、本尊への御参拝はできない点に注意が必要です。駐車場へ向かう道は狭いため、運転には注意が必要です。
