昇仙峡ロープウェイ乗り場近くの山肌に位置し、白い大鳥居と朱色の社殿が特徴的な神社です。巨石群や滝、季節の紅葉など自然豊かな景観が楽しめます。参拝には石段を上る必要があります。御朱印は本宮で受付となっており、周辺には金櫻神社や夫婦木神社（本宮）も点在しています。
